BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) form part of the agreement between the performer (“Performer”) and the client (“Client”) for entertainment services. These T&C's will be sent to the client before booking confirmation.By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these terms in full.

 

1. Booking Confirmation

1.1 A booking is only confirmed once the booking form/contract has been signed (or agreed online) and any required booking fee has been received.

1.2 Until confirmation, the Performer reserves the right to accept other work for the same date.

 

2. Booking fee & Payment

2.1 A non-refundable Booking fee of £50.00 is required to secure the date.

2.2 The remaining balance will be requested via invoice 14 days before the event and is due no later than 48hrs before the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Payment can be made by bank transfer (BACS), credit/debit card, or other agreed methods.

 

3. Cancellations

3.1 If the Client cancels the booking:

 

  • More than 21 days before the event – booking fee retained.

  • Less than 2 days before the event – full fee is payable.

 

3.2 If the Performer is unable to perform due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, all payments received (including the booking fee) will be refunded in full. The Performer will also make reasonable efforts to find/recommend a replacement performer.

 

4. Performance Requirements

4.1 The Client must ensure the performance area is safe, well-lit, and suitable for close-up or stage performance.

4.2 The Client is responsible for providing any agreed equipment, such as a microphone for stage work, if required.

4.3 The Client must ensure guests behave in a respectful and safe manner during the performance.

 

5. Timings & Breaks

5.1 Performance times must be agreed in advance.

5.2 The Performer will be ready to perform at the agreed start time, and delays caused by the Client or venue may result in a shorter performance with no reduction in fee.

 

6. Media & Promotion

6.1 The Client agrees that photos or videos taken during the event that feature the Performer may be used for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Any professional filming or recording of the Performer’s performance must be agreed in advance.

 

7. Liability

7.1 The Performer holds public liability insurance of £10,000,000.

7.2 The Performer accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, except where caused by proven negligence.

 

8. Force Majeure

8.1 The Performer will not be liable for failure to perform if prevented by events beyond reasonable control (including, but not limited to, acts of God, extreme weather, illness, travel disruption, or venue closure).

Health & Safety

Responsibilities of the Client:

  • The client will be required to ensure the venue is a safe working environment for the requested performance. 

  • The client will also be required to ensure there is a power supply if needed for the performance type (e.g. a stage show) and any equipment discussed with the performer prior to the performance.

  • The client is also responsible for giving an adequate address to the venue for travel purposes.

 

Responsibilities of the Performer:

  • The performer will ensure that all equipment that they plan to use is of a safe working standard. 

  • The performer will also carry out a full risk assessment on the use and performance of all equipment used by the performer. 

  • The performer will hold valid Public Liability Insurance and will be able to provide the relevant certificates on request.
